Application Developer

Remote - USA Full time

This role will support business needs by creating technical solutions through application development practices that will improve PillarRx’s proprietary internal applications.  This role will participate in requirements gathering, develop and implement key functionality within the application, follow and apply software development life cycle best practices to create best in class applications for PillarRx’s users. 

Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. 

  • Support and build applications using C# that improve business processes and/or resolve existing issues by following industry practices for security and development concepts.
  • Apply quality assurance practices that minimize errors and/or data discrepancies
  • Apply database schema concepts that ensure optimally running applications / routines
  • Collaborate directly with internal teammates to take business ideas and develop technical requirements that meet the business request
  • Follow all department procedures, including release and change management procedures, to ensure a mature software development approach
  • This position will include job duties that require risk designations for access to Electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) in the course of their job responsibilities
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Required

  • Computer science degree AND 2 years of experience within an enterprise application development team
  • C# with .NET 4.5 or above
  • Previous experience in full-stack web application development
  • Experience within SQL Server
  • Understanding of database principles, structures, theories, and practices.
  • SQL development skills, including views, stored procedures, functions, etc.
  • HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, MVC

Preferred

  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery
  • Previous experience working in the pharmacy industry
  • General understanding of pharmacy industry terminology and practices
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with composing unit and integration tests for large-scale systems

Pay Range

75000 - 90000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
