The Contract Operations Analyst will work closely with Moderna’s US Commercial organization to manage contract and customer administration related activities. You will partner cross-functionally and externally to operationalize contract pricing, memberships, and payments, while delivering high-quality analytics and reporting that informs commercial strategy. Operating from Warsaw during regular office hours, you will support a growing US portfolio and play a critical role in scaling Moderna’s Revenue Management and contracting infrastructure.

Here’s What You’ll Do

  • Develop a working knowledge of contract pricing structures, membership eligibility, customer setups, and payment flows, understanding downstream impacts across Market Access and Commercial operations.

  • Partner with third-party vendors and wholesaler partners to ensure accurate contract setup and execution within Moderna systems.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and contract membership data using Excel and customer information sources, ensuring compliance and data integrity.

  • Establish and maintain a centralized database of contract rosters and key contract information to support operational visibility and reporting.

  • Calculate and analyze administration fees due to contracted customers (e.g., GPOs), preparing outputs for managerial review and approval.

  • Consolidate data and generate reporting on key operational and financial metrics to support the US Market Access team’s decision-making.

  • Manage Moderna’s Revenue Management System (RMS) and maintain the contract matrix, ensuring alignment with pricing, eligibility, and compliance standards.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Account Management to support contract execution, issue resolution, and operational excellence.

  • Maintain departmental logs, shared mailboxes, documentation repositories, and operational trackers to ensure audit readiness and process continuity.

  • Deliver ad hoc reporting and analytical support as business needs evolve, leveraging digital tools and emerging Generative AI capabilities to enhance efficiency and insight generation.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)

  • Degree in Finance or Business.

  • 1+ years of contracts experience.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel working with formulas, pivots, and data analysis.

  • Experience as a working manager contributing to deliverables while also managing a team to meet objectives.

  • Experience with AI in business a plus.

  • Proficiency in English (verbal and/or written) required due to global collaboration needs.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Chargebacks, rebates, Class of trade management.

  • Understanding of industry identifiers (including DEA, HIN, and 340B ID).

  • Experience with Model N or a Revenue Mgmt. system a plus.

  • Strong excel experience required.

  • Experience with researching issues and resolving various data points internally and public.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across the team and other functions and communicate your thoughts in a clear and professional manner verbally and in a presentation setting.

  • A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a quickly adapting, matrixed and high-growth environment.

Collaboration Skills:

  • Ability to communicate timely and clearly with US and Poland based leadership to meet US derived objectives.

  • Experience with driving process improvements and creating innovative solutions to operational challenges.

  • Ability to navigate through processes changes in a heavily seasonal business.

Problem-Solving and Communication:

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain topics clearly.

Expertise in Contract Operations a plus:

  • Basic understanding of U.S. pharmaceutical market dynamics, including pricing, reimbursement, and contracting.

  • Familiarity with SOX compliance, audit requirements, and contract governance processes.
