Analyst-Inventory Management

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

  • Identify and implement improvements in inventory and warehousing strategies to optimize item availability, quality, and cost efficiency.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor incoming deliveries to anticipate storage needs and prepare required equipment and documentation.
  • Facilitate receipt of materials and perform physical inspections with end-users to ensure item accuracy, quality, and completeness.
  • Process and issue receiving documentation (GI, GR) for accepted items and manage business solution software updates for real-time inventory status.
  • Handle material rejections, coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for replacements, and record transactions to withhold payment for rejected goods.
  • Prepare and facilitate the return of rejected materials to vendors or originating warehouses.

Warehouse Management

  • Maintain systematic storage by assigning proper bin locations and labels to ensure traceability.
  • Optimize warehouse space through effective layout and rack adjustments for maximum utilization.
  • Select appropriate material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods.
  • Conduct regular and annual physical inventory counts, verify records with accounting and auditors, and prevent unaccounted losses or discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels through the business system to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
  • Oversee warehouse housekeeping, maintenance, and organization to ensure safety, cleanliness, and prolonged equipment life.
  • Inspect inventories for damage, process disposal documentation (PL-146), coordinate with material owners and Finance for approval, and update system records.
  • Plan and allocate resources (manpower, tools, and equipment) for optimal warehouse operations and cost control.
  • Ensure all warehouse equipment is well-maintained and compliant with safety and regulatory requirements.

Safety Management and Compliance

  • Enforce company and regulatory safety rules, identifying and mitigating workplace hazards and risks.
  • Lead in establishing safety protocols, ensuring all requirements are met prior to work commencement.
  • Verify Competent Persons (CP) authorization and ensure hazard controls are in place before work begins.
  • Supervise execution of warehouse and material handling activities to ensure compliance with safe work procedures and hazard management.
  • Promote continuous learning, professional development, and compliance with EDC

Safety Rules and General Safety Guidelines

  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Fixed Asset Management

  • Monitor, document, tag, and track fixed assets in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Materials Handling and Transshipment

  • Acknowledge and coordinate material movement requests promptly.
    Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines on materials handling and disposal.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Engineering or any Business-related course
  • Two (2) years of inventory or logistics-related work experience
  • Proficient in navigating ERP systems for warehouse and logistics management (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Maximo)
