CMA Early Career Group program

ING’s Early Career Group (“ECG”) is a best-in-class program providing junior talent the opportunity to develop themselves to well-rounded investment bankers, by covering the core and client facing areas across ING’s Capital Markets and Advisory (“CMA”). The aim of this program is to upskill talent and prepare you for future roles in our organization. In addition to a dedicated ECG curriculum together with other ECG talents of your ‘year group’, you will receive high quality on-the-job and classroom trainings for both hard- and soft-skills which will ensure you are well-equipped to become a future, rounded investment banker.

During the program, analysts will get hands-on experience of what is involved in the day-to-day role as a junior team member across different CMA departments in Amsterdam, such as Corporate Finance, Global Capital Markets, Loan Distributions Group, Corporate Investments and Acquisition Finance. The program comprises [two] rotations of six month each along the three different areas: Advisory, Capital Markets and Structuring to broaden your horizons and sharpen your skills. In each rotation, you will operate as part of a team responsible for the origination, structuring, execution, and distribution of CMA transactions.

After completing the program, you will stay in your home base and put your skills to work across the highly dynamic CMA teams with like-minded people and support ING’s teams across the entire wholesale banking value chain.
