Team: Pricing & Promotions Center of Excellence (PPCOE)
PPCOE builds enterprise-wide pricing and promotion strategies to drive competitive pricing and better guest value. The Comp Intel team supports this mission by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful competitor data to drive pricing decisions.
Role Overview
The L4 CI Ops Analyst plays a critical role in strengthening Comp Intel operations by executing audits, analyzing match quality trends, and driving structured issue resolution across tools, processes, and workflows. This role focuses on identifying systemic gaps, improving operational accuracy, and partnering cross-functionally to enhance product matching quality and pricing integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Execution & Quality Assurance
Conduct item match audits, match rejection reviews, and targeted deep dives to ensure high match accuracy and data integrity.
Support product and process enhancements by identifying quality gaps and operational inefficiencies.
Monitor and evaluate audit outcomes to maintain strong operational performance standards.
Trend Analysis & Insights
Analyze audit results and match rejection feedback to identify recurring issues and systemic patterns.
Translate findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across Product, Pricing, and Technology teams.
Contribute to dashboards and reporting that track error trends, audit results, and overall operational health.
Root Cause Analysis & Resolution Management
Lead investigations into pricing anomalies and errors driven by incorrect product matching or system gaps.
Perform structured root cause analysis and drive both short-term fixes and long-term corrective actions.
Maintain a comprehensive root cause log capturing recurring issue types, impacted categories, and resolution SLAs.
Raise, track, and manage issue tickets with cross-functional partners through to closure.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Product, Pricing, Data Science, Engineering, and Product Content teams to resolve operational challenges.
Provide structured feedback to Data Science and Technology teams on automated matching tools, pricing logic, and attribute scoring models.
Act as an operational point of contact to ensure alignment between CI processes and evolving business needs.
Process Improvement & Optimization
Recommend updates to SOPs, workflows, and operational guidelines based on audit insights and trend analysis.
Identify opportunities for automation, system-level controls, and tool enhancements to reduce manual effort and improve scalability.
Support knowledge documentation and best practice sharing to improve team efficiency and long-term operational maturity.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
3-5 years in auditing, operations, quality assurance, analytics, ideally in Retail, Pricing, or GCC environments.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in cross-team collaboration.
Proficiency in Microsoft O365 (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Working knowledge of SQL (basic select/join queries).
Desired Requirements
Master’s degree (MBA in Retail/Ops management/Analytics, or related discipline).
A year in quality assurance or any audit functions.
Advanced knowledge in micro/macro-economic concepts, statistical methodologies and concepts.
