As Analog Circuit Design Engineering Student Worker, you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Intel's cutting-edge innovations in circuit design and verification. In this role, you will engage in the design, simulation, and verification of digital and/or analog circuits, helping ensure robust circuit implementation and integration. The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Work collaboratively to define and verify technical requirements, ensuring that all requirements are clearly documented.

  • Apply tools such as MATLAB, Python, and spice simulation software to support analog and mixed-signal circuit verification and analysis.

  • Support debugging and troubleshooting efforts for both circuit simulations and software code to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues.

  • Prepare and deliver technical reports that communicate design findings and insights.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • Candidate must be pursuing a BS degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study.

  • Basic understanding of CMOS analog circuit design principles.

  • Foundational knowledge of linear systems and signal analysis.

  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, and SPICE simulation software, with 6 months or more of experience in each.

  • Basic knowledge in Excel and documentation.

  • Advanced English proficiency.

  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Solid understanding of CMOS analog circuit design principles.

  • Intermediate knowledge of linear systems and signal analysis.

  • Experience with circuit simulation EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys PrimeWave.

  • 1 year or more of experience using MATLAB, Python, and SPICE simulation software.
