AltaGas - Operator 4, Pipestone Facility
We are currently seeking an Operator 4 for our Pipestone Facility located near Grande Prairie, AB. This position will work with our full-time operations staff to provide added support, ensuring operational activities are conducted in a safe and effective manner.
The Operator is responsible for daily operations including facility operations & troubleshooting, coordination of other workers on site and effective communication of operational activities. The Operator will also ensure that activities conducted on worksites are completed in compliance with all AltaGas and external 3rd party policies/requirements.
The shift schedule for this facility is 7 days on, 7 days off, rotating night/day shift, 12 hours per day.
You Will:
You Have:
1+ years of experience in gas operations is preferred but not required. Other Operations experience will be considered.
Fourth Class Power engineering certification is considered an asset. Recent Power Engineering grads welcome.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team or individually.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
