Une offre d'apprentissage intitulée « Apprenti en Architecture de Base de Données des Systèmes Avioniques (H/F) » vient de s'ouvrir au sein du département TSEAO1 sur le site Airbus Defence and Space de Toulouse.
Vous rejoindrez le département Database Architecture and Roadmap, en charge de l'architecture, du développement et de la gestion de la base de données de référence système (SRDB) de nos engins spatiaux.
L'organisation Avionics Systems au sein d'Airbus Space Systems conçoit la partie fonctionnelle des engins spatiaux. Cela inclut la définition du concept opérationnel, le développement et la validation des logiciels embarqués, ainsi que la création de simulateurs, entre autres missions. L'un des éléments centraux est la System Reference Database (SRDB) : elle contient une représentation numérique de l'architecture avionique et sert de hub central de données pour la conception technique.
Cet apprentissage consistera à apporter un support sur les bases de données de référence de divers programmes d'observation de la Terre, de télécommunications, de navigation et d'exploration.
Le département TSEAO1 est un groupe transnational composé de professionnels (débutants, confirmés et seniors) répartis sur trois sites : Friedrichshafen, Toulouse et Stevenage. Cette configuration facilite les échanges transnationaux sur des sujets complexes et offre diverses opportunités d'évolution de carrière.
Durée : 3 ans.
Sécurité : Ce poste nécessite une habilitation de sécurité ou d'être éligible à une habilitation par les autorités reconnues.
Sous la responsabilité d'un tuteur qui vous aidera à identifier vos objectifs professionnels, vous contribuerez aux activités suivantes :
Isoler et résoudre les problèmes de conception avionique d'un véhicule spatial.
Importer ou injecter manuellement de nouvelles données dans la SRDB.
Extraire ou interroger des sous-ensembles de données de conception avionique.
Garantir la cohérence des données via des requêtes et des scripts.
Développer de nouveaux scripts ou adapter l'existant en Java et/ou Python.
Tester et valider de nouvelles technologies de bases de données (ex: fonctionnalités basées sur l'Intelligence Artificielle).
Soutien divers sur les programmes et projets en cours.
Vous aurez l'opportunité de façonner la gestion future de la SRDB en intégrant des technologies comme l'IA, les flux de travail agents (Agentic Workflows) et des méthodes de travail centrées sur l'humain.
Vous possédez les connaissances et compétences suivantes :
Étudiant en ingénierie aérospatiale ou astronautique avec un intérêt pour l'ingénierie système basée sur les modèles (MBSE), OU étudiant en informatique avec un fort intérêt pour la gestion de données spatiales.
Capacité d'écoute, de compréhension et de communication.
Goût pour le travail collaboratif.
Intérêt pour la construction de systèmes complexes.
Forte motivation pour votre développement personnel.
Capacité à trouver des solutions créatives à des problèmes complexes.
Autonomie dans l'exploration de nouveaux sujets.
Anglais courant indispensable ; le français est un atout.
Appréciation du travail dans un environnement transnational.

An apprenticeship offer entitled "Apprentice in Avionics Systems Database Architecture (M/F)" has just opened within TSEAO1 on the Toulouse site of Airbus Defence and Space. You will join the Database Architecture and Roadmap department in charge of architecting, developing, and managing the System Reference Database of our spacecraft.
Avionics Systems is an organisation within Airbus Space Systems that builds the functional part of a spacecraft. This includes defining the operational concept, developing and validating on-board software, and developing a simulator of the spacecraft, among many other things. One of the central elements of our spacecraft is the System Reference Database (SRDB) that contains a digital representation of the Avionics architecture, and serves as the central engineering and data hub for the Avionics design.
This apprenticeship will consist in working in supportive roles on the System Reference Databases of various Earth Observation, Telecommunication, Navigation, and Exploration programmes
The department TSEAO1 is a transnational group of early, mid-career, and senior professionals located on three sites of Airbus: Friedrichshafen, Toulouse, and Stevenage. This setup facilitates transnational exchange on complex subjects, as well as diverse career development opportunities.
This apprenticeship will start at the beginning of the 2026 academic year and will last 3 years. This position requires security clearance or requires being eligible for clearance by recognized authorities.
You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you to identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.
You will contribute to the following main activities:
Isolating and resolving issues in the Avionics design of a space vehicle
Importing or manually injecting new data into the SRDB
Extracting or querying a subset of data of the Avionics design of a space vehicle
Ensuring data consistency via queries and scripts
Developing new or adapting existing scripts in Java and/or Python
Testing and validating new database technologies and products, such as functionality based on Artificial Intelligence
Other supportive work on ongoing programs and projects
There will be opportunities to help shape how the SRDB will be managed in the future, incorporate new technologies and principles such as Artificial Intelligence, Agentic Workflows, and Human-centric Working.
You have the following knowledge and skills:
Aerospace or astronautical engineering with an interest for and first experience in model-based (systems) engineering OR informatics with a strong interest in data management and engineering of space vehicles
The ability to listen, understand and communicate information
The desire to work in a collaborative environment
An interest in building systems
A strong interest in developing yourself
The ability to find creative solutions to complex problems
The ability to explore and elaborate new subjects on your own
Fluency in English, with French being an asset
Enjoy working in a transnational environment
