Coordinate with CNS/ ARFF/ ELECTRICALS/ and other agencies for ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of flying operation.
Provide traffic information to all traffic in air and ground and ensure adequate separation/ Prevent collision between aircraft and also to maintain the log of all flights operating at Gondia airport.
Monitor serviceability status of various sub-systems and in the event of malfunctioning /degradation / failure of any sub-system reports the same to respective departments as necessary for rectification action on priority.
Coordination between NFTI Traffic and other adjacent Air Traffic Control unit.
Report any incident / accident to the ARFF and respective departments. Take actions in accordance with contingency plans to deal with aircraft emergency/accident as appropriate.
Carrying out periodic R/W inspection.
