The Role
As an Agricultural Payments Analyst, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely payments to our valued national milk suppliers. Working within our Finance & IT team, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will collaborate with transport partners, milk testing laboratories, procurement teams and other business stakeholders. With ongoing change and cross‑training across the team, this role offers variety, learning opportunities and genuine career progression within a supportive, people-first culture.
Responsibilities
Reconcile daily milk tanker carrier reports against purchase orders and resolve exceptions efficiently
Review, validate and correct milk testing results to ensure accurate supplier payments
Maintain accurate milk-in-transit balances, taking proactive action to resolve aged entries
Liaise with procurement, planning, IT and external laboratories/transport partners to investigate and resolve data issues
Support invoicing processes for industrial sales customers and contribute to process improvement initiatives across the team
About You
Confident working with large data volumes, demonstrating high attention to detail and analytical capability
Comfortable engaging with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to solve problems collaboratively
Exposure to reconciliations, accounts payable or an assistant accounting environment
Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP or M3, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
Enthusiastic learner who contributes ideas, embraces change and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
