The IT Project Coordinator supports technology projects by managing administrative tasks, tracking dependencies, and ensuring effective communication across Agile teams. This role helps maintain sprint cadence, documentation, and alignment between development and business stakeholders. Key responsibilities include assisting with project plans and release schedules, maintaining artifacts in Planview, Jira, and Smartsheet, extracting activity and financial data for reporting, and facilitating communication among technical and business teams.
The coordinator also supports budget tracking, resource allocation, vendor coordination, and compliance with governance and security standards.
The ideal candidate is familiar with Agile and SDLC, proficient in Planview, Jira, Smartsheet, and highly skilled in Excel for data aggregation and reconciliation. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and confidence in reporting to leaders. Knowledge of project financials and experience reconciling variances in systems such as DEA and Planview are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Assists in the enablement delivering outcomes to realize the business case(s), dependency scope definition during planning, and with intake processes.
Partners in the preparation and maintenance of financial estimates, business cases and data analysis.
Under leadership guidance assists with project intake, prioritization, demand management, review of issues, change requests, risks and dependencies.
Prepares delivery status/health reports, Planview data/reports, value delivery tracking and coordinates demand/capacity elements.
Looks for opportunities to improve processes, automation and inefficiencies.
Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
Partners in the communication and visibility of program/portfolio matters.
Craft program/portfolio financials, analyze variances, and provides financial reporting to Delivery Leaders and/or Business Solution Area Leaders.
Collaborates in the preparation of resource capacity aligned with planning roadmap(s),
Assist leaders with resource allocations and assignments using standard tools. Providing appropriate information to ensure staffing levels are aligned to all demand impacting the area.
May preform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Technology Leader, Data Leader or Delivery Leader.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in management information systems, engineering, math, computer science, data analytics or comparable experience and education is preferred.
License/Certification/Designation: Technology certifications or PMI, SAFE, Agile or Lean designations are a plus.
Experience: One year or more of experience in technology or related field.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Ability to make decisions and recommendations. Aptitude to establish relationships and set priorities. Good communication skills. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
