This position will work closely with the senior Administrator and other members of the Attorney Management + Advancement team, the Administrator will support the operations of internal partner and counsel elevation processes and the lateral hiring processes for counsel and partners for the Partnership Committee (PC). In addition, the Administrator will coordinate the administration of the firmwide semi-annual attorney evaluation processes for the Attorney Review Committee (ARC).
What You Will Do:
Work with the Attorney Management + Advancement team to create and maintain ARC and PC materials, including communications, PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, schedules, timelines, and intranet pages.
Design, produce (or facilitate the production of), and analyze reports related to attorney productivity and participation in the ARC and PC processes.
Review materials submitted to both Committees from stakeholders throughout processes to ensure accuracy and conformity with procedural requirements.
Provide support for ARC and PC Committee meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics, and related communications.
Respond to or escalate requests and questions from attorneys and other stakeholders, and build relationships with internal clients across the firm as a trusted point of contact on all aspects of the PC and ARC processes.
Collaborate with the secretaries who support the Attorney Management + Advancement team and assist with the training of Committee members’ secretaries on the use and organization of Committee materials and the firm’s evaluation platform.
Interface with internal firm groups including Communications, IT, HR Information Systems, Practice Management, Attorney Development, Learning + Professional Development, and Finance.
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree required.
Two to three years of relevant work experience in a professional services environment. Law firm experience preferred but not required.
Proven ability to manage access to sensitive information, ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements, and uphold the firm’s standards for privacy, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical skills with a particular emphasis on data analysis.
Superior judgment and strong creative problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Able to prioritize workload and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven to work independently and as part of a team demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach.
Ability to work in a professional and collegial manner with attorneys and administrative staff of all levels across a global organization.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including the ability to listen well.
Excellent computer skills, including substantial knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, Zoom, and Teams and the ability to adapt to new software and systems. Experience with viEval and Workday considered a plus.
