About the Position

In this role you will...

  • Provide professional administrative support to the Human Services Manager and as needed, the System Coordination Team and Contract Supervisor
  • Manage calendars, schedules appointments, coordinates travel arrangements, and processes reimbursements
  • Handle office coordination tasks, including equipment, IT/hardware issues, email monitoring, minor correspondence, bank deposits, and timesheet verification
  • Assist with staff meetings, document proofreading/editing, research, data entry, and software/technical support for HS staff
  • Represent Human Services in meetings as requested and provides front-desk support to greet and assist the public
  • Respond to calls, visitors, advisory council members, and employees with a professional and helpful demeanor
  • Maintain strong knowledge of software applications (Microsoft Suite, eGenda) and provides technical support to HS staff
  • Provide primary or backup administrative support for multiple Human Services Councils, Boards, and Workgroups
  • Prepare meeting materials, maintains electronic files, records audio, completes meeting summaries, and manages presentation equipment
  • Assist system coordinators and contract staff with data entry, travel, scheduling, and report preparation for grants and mandated programs

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of clerical, administrative, and computer experience
  • -OR- One year of college may substitute for one (1) year of experience

Preferred "BONUS " Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher along with SIRE eGenda system and the DCR recording equipment and software

About Everything Else

Starting Pay: $21.85 - $22.50/ hour, based on experience
