About the Role

Ensure AIA can deliver the product pricing required in the Products Marketing and Business Strategy.
Meet the pricing standards required by Group Office and complies with BNM regulatory requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Individual Pricing

Product pricing and development for individual products

  • Assessment of product risks and regulatory requirements at product ideation stage
  • Conduct and review the accuracy of pricing models, reinsurance reports and experience studies
  • Group office filing & local regulatory filing of new products
  • Review of Marketing documents for compliance and accuracy
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production Quality Control (QC) on New Business (NB) and Policy Servicing (POS) functionalities to ensure accuracy of system set up for new products
  • Support channel compensation review, reinsurance arrangement and negotiation with reinsurers

Taskforce member

  • A member of the taskforce to address all financial value related issues/queries/complaints from other department or policyholders
  • Investigate issues, propose solutions for the Company and Policyholders
  • Provide support on UAT of system functionalities and/or production recovery

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree holder, preferably in Actuarial Science.
  • Making progress towards an actuarial qualification
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong analytical skills and with business acumen.
  • Confident and proactive.
