Job Description
Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining one or more general accounting systems to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Your main activities will include preparing journal entries, reconciling and maintaining ledger accounts, and providing detailed records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions. You will periodically balance the books and prepare key financial statements, including profit and loss, income, and balance sheets. Additionally, you will manage receipts and disbursement reports to support the organization’s financial integrity. This position reports directly to the Accounting Team Lead based in Brazil.
Your Responsibilities:
Calculate and post accruals
Perform system tests
Control & Analysis of leases contracts
Accounting entries
Balance sheet account reconciliations: Liabilities and assets
Internal & External Audit Support
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
The Essentials - You Will Have:
Degree in accounting (complete)
Intermediate Excel, including lookup/vlookup/xlookup/sumifs/pivot table
Previous accounting experience
Advanced English
Lean thinking
Knowledge in SAP
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
Advanced Excel – Macro/VBA, Power BI
