DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
The Account Coordinator I is an entry-level role within the Source One Department, supporting turnkey flooring and installation project services. This position provides administrative and project support to Account Coordinators, Segment Supervisors, and Segment Managers. It offers a hands-on learning environment with exposure to project coordination, CRM systems, SAP order processing, document organization in OneNote, and file tracking via Lynx folders. The goal of this role is to build the foundational skills and experience required for promotion to Account Coordinator II.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Project Support: Assist in the preparation, tracking, and organization of quotes, proposals, and project documentation.
Order Entry: Support order processing using SAP and internal systems under direct guidance.
Communication: Facilitate internal and external communication between sales teams, customers, and operations.
CRM Management: Create and maintain project records in the CRM system with accuracy and consistency.
Document Management: File, label, and organize project documents in OneNote and Lynx folders.
Scheduling Support: Help coordinate sample requests, shipment tracking, and delivery timelines.
Training & Development: Engage in ongoing training for SAP, CRM, Lynx, and project workflows.
Administrative Tasks: Perform data entry, prepare documents, and assist with installer payment tracking.
Project Close-Out: Contribute to the completion of close-out documentation and related administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE:
0–2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or project coordination
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and process accuracy
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Must pass pre-employment drug screening

GROWTH PATH:
This position is designed as a developmental role leading to Account Coordinator II. Typical promotion occurs around 12 months of demonstrated proficiency in:
CRM project creation and updates
SAP order processing and tracking
Document management via OneNote and Lynx
Independently supporting projects and managing communications
