The Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors (AISS) Product Area, within the Advanced Technology (AT) Strategic Business Unit is seeking an onsite Program Cost Controls analyst. The analyst will support the execution of several key strategic development programs for Raytheon. The analyst will work closely with finance management in supporting contractual Earned Value implementation, EAC Development, and AD Hoc Analysis.  The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced team environment, work across multiple organizations and levels of leadership, and meet deadlines. This candidate is detail focused, seeks process improvement and efficiency opportunities, and works to ensure the program successfully executes. What You Will Do

  • You will work closely with the program managers as well as cross-functional partners to facilitate financial results, while also maintaining excellent internal controls.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly program reports
  • Perform Adhoc Analysis
  • Tool implementation with process improvement focus
  • Support Contractual Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and maintenance, variance analysis, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion.(EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, EVMS CDRL preparation (IPMR/IPMDAR, CFSR, CSDR)
  • Data analysis and Variance development

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration or related field.
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • Experience with MS Excel

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, with the ability to clearly present complex information.  

  • Proven experience in forecasting, variance analysis, and/or budgeting, with a strong understanding of finance principles and practices.  

  • Skilled in handling multiple projects and processes simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced business environment.  

  • Adept at leveraging critical thinking skills to deliver value-added analysis and actionable insights to management.  

  • Familiarity with RTX financial and accounting policies, procedures, and standards.

  • This position is onsite in Tewksbury, MA. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

  • This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
