The Zone Training Coordinator will support the HouseSmart Training department in various training support functions to ensure the smooth operation of training programs at various locations. The Zone Training Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives that support the training and developmental goals of our teams and align with organizational goals.
Job Functions:
Assist with Training Implementation & Manage Training Tracking
Oversee delivery and completion of training requirements, communicating regularly with locations and senior field leadership to measure training needs against growth goals.
Partner with leadership to identify, execute, and track training objectives across multiple locations.
Maintain training tracking and reporting to leadership on a consistent basis, highlighting wins and areas of opportunities for team against their growth goals.
Prepare and share compliance, completion, and validation training metrics to leadership.
Assist with scheduling training sessions and managing logistics across departments or locations.
Ensure and update, as needed, all trainings to be utilizing the most up-to-date safety, manufacturing, quality, etc. standards that have been shared, partnering closely with locations to communicate changes, as needed.
Assist with Training Program Development
Partner with Zone Training Manager to assist with the development of training materials including but not limited to presentations, print materials, tracking systems, etc. Deliver comprehensive training programs including instructor-led sessions, e-learning modules, hands-on workshops, and on-the-job training.
Provide consistent feedback on program management, bringing to light additional needs, gaps, and enhancements for programs.
Assist with training facilitation, as needed.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Training and Performance Improvement, Learning Design and Technology, Education, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in construction training, safety management, or related role a plus.
Years of Related Experience: 1-3 years related experience in a training role or similarly functioning role.
Licenses/Certifications: Any training and development certification a plus.

Communication skills: clear writing for training materials, confident verbal communication for coordination.
Organizational & time management skills: juggling multiple training programs, calendars, and logistics.
Problem-solving skills: resolving scheduling conflicts, adapting programs when trainers or participants change.
Facilitation skills: assisting in delivering training sessions, onboarding, or orientations.
Data analysis & reporting skills: pulling data from LMS, creating training reports, identifying gaps.
Customer service skills: supporting employees and managers with training needs.
Teamwork & collaboration: working with HR, trainers, vendors, and department heads.
Excellent attention to detail when working through any requested task.
Team player that is willing to learn and grow with the team.
Reliable with strong attendance and work ethic.
Ability to pass criminal background check as well as post-offer drug screen.
Ability and willingness to travel when necessary (less than or equal to 30% of total job function).
