Disney’s Yellow Shoes is the award‑winning, in‑house creative ad agency for Disney Destinations. We create bold, memorable campaigns for one of the most iconic brands in the world—and we have a lot of fun doing it. As a Creative Copywriting Intern, you won’t be shadowing from the sidelines. You’ll be jumping into real projects, collaborating with seasoned creatives, and gaining hands‑on experience that goes way beyond the classroom.

This is your chance to build your portfolio, sharpen your voice, and see how ideas turn into real campaigns that reach millions.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, FL, from June 2026 to January 2027.

What You Will Do

As a Creative Copywriting Intern, you’ll flex your creativity across multiple platforms and learn how great advertising comes to life. You can expect to:

  • Write copy for Disney Parks & Resorts marketing channels

  • Collaborate in ideation and brainstorming sessions with creative leaders

  • Learn how to think conceptually and solve creative problems through words

  • Create short and long‑form copy for a variety of advertising mediums

  • Help build creative decks and presentations that sell big ideas

  • Deliver polished, on‑brand writing for internal and external audiences

  • Learn how to adapt your writing style to different brand voices and tones

  • Manage deadlines and projects in a fast‑paced, agency‑style environment

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Coursework or experience in copywriting or creative writing

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Curious, creative, and excited to learn how advertising works in the real world

  • Strong written communication skills and creative curiosity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in or exposure to agency life, creative studios, or brand marketing

  • Familiarity with The Walt Disney Company, including films, television, and theme parks

Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Advertising preferred

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship​

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program

  • Be at least 18 years of age​

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization​

Additional Information

  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines while at work

  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 - January 2027

  • Must have the ability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) Monday - Friday, for the duration of the internship

  • Being able to provide one's own housing and reliable transportation to/from work is required

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.50 per hour.
