THE OPPORTUNITY
Can you imagine yourself playing a role in shaping the world's most advanced visual positioning technology?
You will join our exceptionally international and diverse Mapping and Perception team, surrounded by other fun and like-minded individuals, while also working at the forefront of technology, and building something that will directly impact the products and innovations of our customers.
In this role, you will have the chance to to become a part of the digital revolution of real-time 3D location sensing and location-aware mobile applications that shape the interaction between the real and the virtual world!
If you are passionate about cloud services as well as web development, while at the same time enjoy solving challenging problems, you just might be the person we are looking for!
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- You will contribute towards the development and improvement of our Indoor Mapping technology and its components around cloud processing with the use of AWS services
- You will support the monitoring, operation, and debugging of cloud applications on Amazon's AWS platform
- You will provide engineering support to research efforts by closely working with other Software Engineers
- You will have the responsibility of writing high-quality, well tested and documented code, ready to run in production environment
- You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge in an agile team, while also supporting the continuous improvement of our software quality
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE
- Hands on programming experience in Python
- Good analytical as well as problem-solving skills
- Initial knowledge of cloud processing and web development, as well as Unix/Linux environments
- Excellent English language skills, since it is our official language of communication
- Experience with Angular, React and/or Java will be an added bonus!
