Job Summary

The Workforce Development Intern supports manufacturing and operations teams through data analysis, training development, and workforce capability initiatives. This role provides hands‑on experience in curriculum development, training tools, and operational analytics while contributing to Nissan’s commitment to innovation, talent development, and the future of mobility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support operational effectiveness through data analysis, needs assessments, and training gap identification.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of training curricula and learning materials.
  • Build and support training aids, devices, or tools to enhance learning delivery.
  • Conduct research related to workforce development initiatives and assist with training design and potential facilitation.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Education, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.

Travel

  • Local travel only; less than 25%.
