At AstraZeneca, patients are at the heart of every decision, and the ambition is to meet unmet needs across the globe. This role sits within a fast-paced Regional HR Centre, working closely with HR and IT stakeholders to improve how HR operates and how it partners with the wider business. As the Workforce Data Specialist, French Speaker, the focus is on accurate workforce administration, high-quality data management and supporting recruitment activities that keep our organisation moving. Curious about how data, technology and HR come together to power a science-led enterprise? Ready to act fast, collaborate across borders and help turn bold ideas into reality?
Accountabilities
In this role, responsibility spans the full lifecycle of workforce data and core HR administration. Day to day, this includes managing employee personal data, ensuring changes are validated with the right approvals and supported by correct documentation. Workday job change processes will be handled end-to-end, covering promotions, demotions, lateral moves and fixed-term contract extensions, with all associated documentation completed on time and to a high standard. Collaboration with in-country HR teams will be key to managing affiliate transfers, generating contracts and supporting manual payroll and benefits activities where needed.
A critical part of the role is safeguarding data quality in Workday. Regular data checks will be performed, error lists maintained and data gaps highlighted, followed by proactive engagement with local HR or other stakeholders to resolve issues. The role also contributes to continuous improvement: spotting opportunities to streamline processes or enhance technology usage, then partnering with Global Process Owners to prioritise and implement changes. Accurate information capture and disciplined use of HR systems underpins everything, helping to drive consistent, reliable workforce data that supports better decisions across the enterprise.
