Johnson Matthey IT (JM IT) is Johnson Matthey’s global IT function responsible for ensuring that our IT capabilities are not only able to support and integrate technologies but can also work alongside our business units and Corporate functions to provide leadership and direction to provide competitive edge and improved operating efficiencies.
As Workday Solution Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in providing in-depth functional development, and ongoing support and maintenance for Workday, ensuring that current and future business requirements are adding value and are fully delivered. You will also provide in-depth process support to the business analysts when scoping requirements to ensure optimal value delivery exploiting best practice solutions.
As Workday Solution Specialist, you will help drive our goals by:
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Hands‑on experience configuring Workday, with focus on Compensation and/or Time & Attendance
Experience supporting Workday in a live production environment
Understanding of HR processes related to pay, time, and absence.
Background working in Agile or iterative delivery environments, using tools such as Jira to manage technical work, tasks, and documentation. Previous experience collaborating with cross‑functional business and IT teams to deliver system enhancements or projects.
Ability to write clear, structured documentation.
Fluent in English
