The Workday Analyst Intern will support the HR Technology team in maintaining, configuring, and enhancing Workday. This role provides hands-on exposure to system configuration, reporting, and data analysis within a global HR systems environment.
The intern will assist with troubleshooting issues, supporting testing cycles, documenting business requirements, and contributing to system improvements across HR, Absence, Payroll, and related functional areas.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in supporting Workday HCM configuration (business processes and foundational data).
Help develop and validate Workday reports and dashboards.
Participate in testing activities (unit testing, SIT, UAT support).
Document system requirements, configuration changes, and process workflows.
Support data audits, validation efforts, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders on enhancement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, HR, Computer Science, or a related field (graduation date between fall 2026 – spring 2027)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and data accuracy.
Basic understanding of HR systems or enterprise software (ERP/HCM knowledge is a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Exposure to Workday or other HCM platforms.
Basic understanding of HR processes (payroll, benefits, talent, etc.).
Experience with reporting tools or data visualization platforms.
