The Opportunity
 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Work Preparation Specialist to join our team at the Ludvika Power Transformers Factory. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely preparation of production data in SAP to support our manufacturing operations.

You will work closely with engineering, planning, and purchasing teams to translate technical drawings into production workflows. This position requires strong attention to detail, technical understanding, and a collaborative mindset.

How you'll make an impact

  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in SAP based on engineering drawings.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date material master data to support purchasing, production planning, and manufacturing.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure correct data input into ERP systems.
  • Participate in technical handovers with engineering to ensure smooth data transition into production systems.
  • Collaborate with production planning to ensure timely completion of work preparation activities.
  • Work with purchasing to specify long lead-time components early in the process.
  • Update master data in SAP to reflect engineering changes or product revisions.
  • Support rework and quality improvement projects by preparing and adjusting production data as needed.

Your Background

  • Technical education or equivalent experience in manufacturing or production planning.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
