About This Opportunity 

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Work Integrated Learning Coordinator to join our world-class Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences on a continuing basis to drive impact through Work Integrated Learning excellence.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Work Integrated Learning, this industry-facing role works collaboratively with the Partnership Development Manager and the Manager, Placements as well as our school-based WIL teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

The position has operational responsibility for the end-to-end administration and coordination of student placement agreements, ensuring seamless preparation, review, and execution of contracts. Additionally, the role supports best practice in WIL data and record management to ensure compliance and quality outcomes across the faculty.

Your work will directly contribute to building strong industry partnerships and empowering students to thrive in real-world settings.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Manage student placement agreements from preparation to execution, ensuring compliance with university policies, industry standards and reporting requirements while maintaining accurate WIL records and data.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, faculty leadership and external industry partners to deliver a high-quality placement experience aligned with academic and industry needs.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, expert advice and operational support to stakeholders, fostering positive relationships through clear communication, proactive problem-solving and sound governance.

  • Contribute to strategic WIL initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance technology use and strengthen stakeholder engagement.

About You  

  • You will bring a combination of experience, knowledge, and interpersonal skills that enable you to thrive in a dynamic, industry-facing environment. Specifically, you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience: Completion of a degree in health, business, or a related discipline with experience in placements, relationship management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Relationship-building skills: Ability to manage and maintain strong relationships with new and existing placement providers using exceptional consultation and customer service skills.

  • Operational and analytical capability: Proven ability to critically review processes, identify risks, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

  • Organisational excellence and attention to detail: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and precision in all tasks.
