The Windows Administrator is responsible for the design, operation, security, and optimization of Windows-based infrastructure across on-premises and AWS EC2 environments. The role exists to ensure highly available, secure, and cost-effective Windows systems that support business-critical workloads in a hybrid cloud model.
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of experience as a Windows or Systems Administrator
3+ years of hands-on AWS EC2 support experience for Windows-based workloads
Strong expertise with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
Deep experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP in hybrid environments
Preferred
Experience supporting production workloads in AWS at scale
AWS certifications (AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate or higher)
Microsoft certifications related to Windows Server or cloud platforms
Experience with PowerShell automation and infrastructure-as-code concepts
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)(Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
Experience with scripting/automation in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Physical Abilities / Demands
Ability to support after-hours maintenance windows and possible on-call rotations
Ability to work extended periods at a computer and respond to incidents as required
