West Natural Gas Origination Vice President

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Natural Gas Originator to expand our physical & financial business in Western markets, with a primary focus on AECO/Canada, and subsequent expansion into the Midwest, Pacific Northwest, and beyond. This role is critical for developing new client relationships and market opportunities, leveraging expertise in physical / financial natural gas and cross-commodity products. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth and establishing a significant presence in these strategic regions.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on building out our West physical natural gas business, particularly in AECO/Canada, and expanding into the Midwest and Pacific Northwest.
• Develop AECO/Canadian markets, including engaging with pipelines, storage providers, and customers.
• Cultivate relationships with E&P companies in the Canadian market in conjunction with Corporate Banking and Capital Markets.
• Work on cross-commodity products, including Natural Gas, Oil, and NGL derivatives.
• Collaborate closely with the existing Natural Gas origination team and internal partners to secure new business and navigate internal processes.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of experience
• Previous experience in client-facing roles with proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships through value added service and commercial skills
• An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
