Resumo do Perfil do Cargo
Under direction of the WCE manager, provides support across the division with the ultimate goal to run healthy reliable BOPs, minimizing WCE downtime, and elimination unplanned BOP Pulls. Ensures pro-active planning and execution of all BOP maintenance activities and provides onboard QA/QC support during IBWM execution periods, planned out-of-service periods and in- field WCE projects. Assists in managing of the WCE support team in the division. Involved in providing technical support to the division for WCE downtime events and ensures proper escalation to the WCE manager. Assist WCE manager in engagement of Customers, OEMs, and regulators in support of operations. Completes offshore subsea assessments as directed. Provides coaching and mentoring of the offshore subsea community.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assists in WCE technical support and follow up either as direct result of downtime or avoidance of downtime. Escalates issues to WCE Manager as required. Ensures involvement as required from OEMs, 3rd parties, Transocean Engineering & Ops Support, Customers, etc.
- Engagement with rig teams, OEM’s, and customers on proactive planning and execution of the agreed IBWM Scopes, out of service periods, and in-field work. Ensures IBWM plans are submitted on time, reviewed, and executed. Participates in any PDCL calls for their associated rigs. Assists in Operator forums and Customer requests as directed by the WCE manager. Active involvement with OEM CSA teams in ensuring personnel and parts are in place for these work scopes.
- Assists in the management of the WCE Support team deployments offshore.
- Lead in ensuring procedural reviews are completed for the subsea testing procedures in CMMS and improvements are captured, procedures updated, and the process is followed for any fleet-and-forever actions.
- Ensures subsea failures component D&I reports are reviewed with the respective OEM and the appropriate root cause is assigned. Participates in root cause failure analysis (RCFA) follow up with OEM’s and third parties.
- As directed, leads offshore subsea assessments or through the support team. Follows up on rig and division actions resulting from these assessments. Identify improvement opportunities from planning through to execution and ensures this is communicated correctly to the WCE manager.
Education:
- Minimum Required: Some College
Experience:
- Minimum Required: 8-10 years of related experience
- Preferred Level: 10-12 years of related experience
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, good understanding of class and regulatory requirements, excellent organization and interpersonal skills. Strong technical writing skills. Advanced technical knowledge of BOP and BOP Controls systems.
Location:
- Candidate must live and work in Rio de Janeiro.
