Job Description:

SUMMARY

Webber is looking for a Marketing Specialist that will be part of the Communications & Marketing team, reporting to the Communications & Marketing Director. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for leading internal and external strategic operational meetings organization, including summits, annual meeting, town halls, divisional meetings, trade shows, charitable events, client events and employee celebrations. This position will also support internal marketing efforts, coordination of the company online store and help with graphic design production and social media content management, development of internal and external marketing deliverables and collateral.

REGULAR JOB DUTIES

  • Lead and coordinate internal and external operational events, including townhalls, annual meetings, trade shows and employee and client celebrations. 
  • Support swag order placement and management of Webber Online Store.
  • Helping collect content for social media channels, support in the preparation of a weekly plan of content and monitor comments/response.
  • Coordinating marketing graphic or other materials requests from projects and offices, including office and project signage, employee swag, career fair brochures and displays, etc.
  • Coordinating special projects, like employee yearly contests.
  • Write creative and unique content as well as come up with innovative ideas to develop marketing materials such as handouts, posters, flyers, etc. The content should be informative and engaging while enabling audiences to get their information promptly and efficiently.
  • Assist with the development of corporate audiovisual projects such as PowerPoint presentations, photography and video creation. 
  • Ability to capture content with video, audio and photography equipment, as needed, with some limited digital editing of content is a strong advantage. 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed in cross functional department, including but not limited to industry events and awards tracking/support and assisting with social media community management.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing development – event organization, trade show staffing, social media campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field 
  • Good networking, communications and customer engagement skills 
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) under tight deadlines 
  • Ability to develop and execute a run of show for annual meeting and other internal events 
  • Must be available to travel to events for staffing as needed
  • Good multi-tasking skills and problem-solving skills  
  • Photography and videography skills are a plus 
  • Ability to identify and gather materials for social media content (in coordination with Communications Director and agency support) is a plus
