What You'll Be Doing
- Operate a water truck to control dust and maintain safe, compliant haul roads and work areas
- Operate a haul truck or other mobile equipment as needed to support site operations
- Perform pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance to ensure equipment is safe and ready
- Safely maneuver vehicles in active quarry, pit, and plant environments
- Communicate and coordinate with site personnel while following all safety and environmental procedures
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated capability to safely operate water trucks, haul trucks, or similar mobile equipment
- Strong commitment to safety, situational awareness, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to conduct routine equipment inspections and recognize potential issues
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production and site needs
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
