What You'll Be Doing
- Operate water truck to control dust on haul roads and work areas
- Inspect and maintain water truck for safe operation
- Monitor water levels and refill as needed to ensure continuous coverage
- Communicate with quarry team to coordinate dust control activities
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic patterns within the quarry
What Are We Looking For
- Ability to safely operate water truck and related equipment
- Strong awareness of safety standards and compliance requirements
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Capability to work independently in outdoor and variable conditions
- Attention to detail in equipment checks and water application
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
What We Offer
- $26.70 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate
