Job Summary: You will serve as a WATER PLANT OPERATOR in the NUCLEAR OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION: Operate systems such as Waste Separation, Water Solidification, and Decontamination system processes in radiological repair facilities. Inspect and maintain the Mixed Waste Accumulation Areas throughout the facility. Follow rules and regulations to ensure proper disposal and transportation of waste on public transport systems. Read, classify, and utilize the FSSR (Facilities Systems Status Reports). Operate forklift to move materials weighing several hundred pounds.
