As a Financial Operations Associate, you will be part of the Financial Operations team responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of funds for the countless transactions happening on the Xendit platform daily. It is a wide ranging role. For example, you can be helping to execute daily operations, designing processes operationally for new products, building relationships with banking partners, working with product and tech teams as we automate recons or operations, and touching base with regional teams as we grow in other regions in Southeast Asia. You will also be owning reconciliations across the entire organisation, driving high impact across the region by ensuring all funds are moving as they should and we have full oversight over all movements.

Minimum Qualifications
- Fresh graduate of Management, Accounting, Finance, or a similar course, or 1-3 years of relevant experience in a start-up/fast paced environment or within the payments, fintech, or financial services spaces
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Comfortable dealing with large datasets and data analysis
- You are detail oriented, can see patterns in data/information or notice when something is amiss

Responsibilities
Own & execute Xendit’s day-to-day financial operations and its reconciliations
- Support Xendit’s daily shift operations, which includes processing customer transactions across the region, liaising with banking partners, executing bank requirements, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve customer issues
- Be willing and able to work shift on weekends and/or holidays, if assigned/required
- Conduct and own periodic reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions for Xendit products across the region, ensuring that all funds are moving as expected and Xendit does not have any exposure or incorrect transactions
- Support on automating recons across products and the region to ensure no gaps in the process and Xendit is protected against money loss
- Have the flexibility to move across roles within Finops team depending on business needs
- Have the opportunity to learn how Xendit operates from the ground up and make a real impact on the future of the organization
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Solve complex problems by working across partner, product, sales, legal and compliance teams to deliver tailored solutions for our customers
- Solve for unreconciled transactions by working with product, partners, partnerships and finance to identify and resolve root causes
Onboarding new recons, products or regions
- Understand how our products and services work and be able to create processes to support Xendit’s expansion in Southeast Asia
- As new products are launched and we expand to new markets, set up and own the reconciliation processes to ensure that at all points, Xendit recons are operating at best in class standards
