Providing advice and support on technical Drawings, BoQs, Materials lists for WASH Component
Coordinate hygiene, sanitation and community participation activities of the organization with line departments (county Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Officer, RRC etc.)
Organize and coordinate distribution of soap and sanitary kits to IDPs sites and schoolgirls of reproductive age
Design and supervision of boreholes and water yard points, latrines, solid waste pit construction and rehabilitation
Coordinate with the department of public utility, the relevant authorities, the cluster agencies and community leaders for the involvement of all stakeholders and sustainability of the program
Carry out assessments and other relevant studies, individually or with partners

Planning and implementation of hygiene promotion training and practical activities for IDPs, primary schools, students and staff.
Planning and implementation of water management and pump operators’ trainings and supervision of water management committees work, in coordination with the relevant stakeholders
Facilitation community hygiene promotion through community meetings, in schools, health facilities, campaigns, radio program and social occasions.
Conduct campaigns in the IPDs sites on emergency construction of pit latrines and seeking always for the maximum involvement of the community.

Monitoring access to water and water quality testing through regular water quality analysis and ensuring disinfection of any water sources which show contamination
Supervise all the WASH hardware constructions ensuring that they are done following World Vision International guidelines.

Ensure regular and timely documentation of and reporting of the WASH activities, the general WASH situation in IDPs sites and collection of project indicators according to World Vision International and donor standards.

Required Professional Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in infrastructure works or in Water and/or Sanitation Project implementation. And 1 years’ experience in fragile context programming.
Required Education,training, license,registration, and certification
Preferred Knowledge
and Qualifications
Experience supervising construction teams/contractors in water supply and sanitation construction works.
Skills in project management, including managing resources, and financial and budget planning.
Experience and skills in community mobilization.
Skills in Hygiene Promotion, Community Total-led Sanitation (CLTS) and Participatory Hygiene and Sanitation Tools Methodology (PHAST) desirable.
Skills and experience in conducting water quality analysis using portable water testing kits.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Having demonstrated organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; organized, efficient, and able to work long hours to meet deadlines.
Willingness to work under pressure in unstable security and remote location with necessities a big plus.
