Warehouse Supervisor

Plastipak - Highlands, TX Full time

General Description

Responsible for the moving and storage of finished goods and raw materials. Also responsible for loading product for customer orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Load / unload trailers

  • Remove finished goods/ raw materials from or to production lines and place in warehouse or production

  • Responsible for the accuracy of all transactions and product scanning

  • Load finished goods for shipment to customers

  • Document all shipments both inbound and outbound

  • Repair any unit(s) damaged during their shift

  • Verify that the quality of the product sent meets customer expectations

  • Complete all assigned cleaning tasks as required by the master cleaning schedule or assigned cleaning tasks

  • Responsible for maintaining ISO, OSHA, and GMP standards

  • Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Team oriented

  • Self-motivated

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Must have flexibility of job assignments

  • Must  be able to commutate effectively.

  • Must be able to operate a forklift

  • Must be able to read shipping and receiving documents

  • Basic computer skills

  • Required to sit, stand, and move about the facility - - ability to operate a forklift up to 95% of scheduled working hours.

  • Overtime required per schedule, 7-day week operation
