About the role
The Warehouse Services Associate is responsible for performing a combination of daily warehouse operations—receiving, picking, packing, and shipping—alongside preventive and corrective maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities. This role ensures that Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is functional, inventory is accurate, and the facility remains safe and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations (60-70%)
    • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load/unload trucks, and move goods.
    • Perform receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of inventory accurately, updating the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
    • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
    • Manage engineering spare part stock accurately.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for departmental systems and processes
  • Preventive & Corrective Maintenance (30-40%)
    • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance (PM) checks on MHE, including checking battery water levels, lubricating moving parts, checking tire pressure, and cleaning grease traps.
    • Perform corrective maintenance (minor repairs) on warehouse assets such as door/lock damage repairs, rack repairs.
    • Troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical malfunctions in equipment.
    • Inspect and maintain the warehouse facility, including lighting, pallet racking integrity, and safety signage

Basic Qualifications:

We are seeking individuals with the following required skills to help us achieve our goals:          

  • Educational Background: Completion of G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L), G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L), and Engineering Diploma.
  • Warehouse Management Experience: Proven experience in warehouse management or a certificate in storekeeping management.
  • Equipment Handling: Experience in handling powered industrial trucks.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse management systems, particularly SAP.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in warehouse, with a demonstrated track record of achieving results.
  • Additionally, experience in engineering material handling will be considered an added advantage.
