Cadence Technologies is seeking an exceptional Warehouse Manager who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment supporting world-class food and beverage manufacturers. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This role is responsible for ensuring warehouse operations run smoothly to support the flow of products into, out of, and throughout the warehouse and inventory locations, while also expediting shipments, staging deliveries, and quoting unique delivery solutions to support a dynamic client base and service team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counts to reconcile inventory against digital records.
  • Receive new items into inventory.
  • Analyze trends to suggest future inventory needs.
  • Manage the staging of parts for the service team to ensure requests are processed in a timely manner and all costs are properly transferred to the appropriate cost centers.
  • Receive incoming shipments of parts associated with projects. Organize and stage materials, kit and consolidate items based on the installation schedule, and coordinate shipments with Project Managers.
  • Coordinate inventory activities to support Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) needs, including field cycle counts, restocking orders, inventory transfers, and site restocking activities.
  • Maintain an efficient, clean, and organized warehouse layout with clearly identified stations for project materials and kitted components.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained to maximize product quality.
  • Cross-train service team members on warehousing tasks.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory control, supply chain, or field service support.
  • 3+ years of experience performing cycle counts and reconciling physical inventory against ERP, WMS, or other digital inventory systems.
  • 3+ years of experience receiving, inspecting, labeling, organizing, staging, kitting, and consolidating project-related materials.
  • Experience processing inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, item creation, and cost-center allocations.
  • Experience supporting Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), including restocking, field cycle counts, inventory transfers, and cabinet replenishment, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse layout, bin locations, part identification, inventory labeling, and material staging practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and inventory reporting.
  • Experience using an ERP, WMS, inventory tracking system, barcode scanner, or service-management platform.
  • Ability to analyze inventory usage, stock movement, and reorder trends to support future stocking recommendations.
  • Ability to coordinate material availability and shipment timing based on project schedules.
  • Ability to document and follow standard operating procedures for receiving, inventory control, VMI, warehouse organization, and cycle counts.
  • Ability to lift, move, organize, and stage warehouse materials in accordance with company safety practices.
  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.

 Travel:

20% to 40% Regional travel to customer facilities for cycle counts and inventory restocking of VMI cabinets.
