This role is the owner of the DuPont Spruance onsite Warehouse and all associated processes for the site and Tyvek. Provides functional direction and input to multiple support roles including the embedded warehouse contractor.

Accountable for performance of warehouse including safety, productivity, work process adherence, cost and overall effectiveness of workforce. Responsible for ensuring services provided match contractual agreements and recognize gaps early, gain alignment and drive closure.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the Warehouse organization
• Collaborates with other resources and work processes
• Deliver results: Safety, Reliability and Maintenance cost optimization
• Responsible for holding site to warehouse best practices
• Responsible for developing and leading the site warehousing strategy
• Provides functional direction to MRO Coordinator
• Provides functional direction to MERI Engineer
• Accountable for measuring the performance of individuals against the expectations of the work processes and the utilization of most effective technology
• Competency Profiles, Employee Development, Deployment, Compensation in their span of control
• Acts as a Subject Mater Expert for other departments
• Coordinates/sponsors the formation of teams for timely resource leveraging to support significant opportunities
• Works with Procurement and Supply Chain on improvements
• Assist the business in articulating the business MRO supply strategy.
• Responsible for the daily performance management of warehouse contractor
• Responsible to verify contract services per contract are being provided satisfactorily
• Works with CA team on any identified changes to warehousing agreement
• Works with CA team on any staffing or performance issues
• Leads any warehouse scope changes
• Leads development and review of RFPs within span of control
• Assures proper warehouse staffing level
• Ensures delivery of best in class services to the businesses
• Ensures critical warehouse practices are occurring per standard – MERI, Slow Moving, Dormant, Verification


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of Warehousing or related experience required

Capabilities Required for this Role (Knowledge Skills & Abilities):

  • Executes Order Recommendation process
  • Knowledgeable in SAP
  • Understands logic behind inventory replenishments
  • Microsoft Office knowledge and skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Understands systems (such as Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)) support functions: ie. Changes to programs, functionality and testing
  • Able to provide technical identification of new and/or existing MRO materials
  • Knowledge of appropriate standards, protocols, and systems
  • Demonstrated skill in verbal and written communications, planning and organizing
  • Excellent organization and time management skills to include prioritization, scheduling, and optimizing work force skills and resources
  • Strong interpersonal and Conflict Resolution Skills with the ability to influence managers, peers and the maintenance team
  • Microsoft Office knowledge and skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Participate with Business MRO networks
  • Participate in site MRO networks
