As a Warehouse Lead, you will oversee and optimize warehouse operations to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements. Your mission will be to deliver exceptional service and high-quality products to customers—at the right time, at the right cost, and with maximum efficiency.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Manage and optimize all activities related to warehousing and material handling across all shifts at the site.
  • Oversee internal warehouses, off-site warehouses, and third-party managed warehouses.
  • Contribute to developing and executing strategies for warehouse operations in compliance with company requirements.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service by implementing best practices and inventory strategies to optimize material storage and control.
  • Support initiatives such as inventory improvements, change management, capital projects, new manufacturing start-ups, and new product launches.
  • Drive continuous improvement in material handling, storage, material flow, and inventory control processes.
  • Coordinate material availability and storage with other functions, including Planning, Procurement, Quality Control, and Technical teams.
  • Implement effective inventory management strategies and optimize warehouse capacity.
  • Lead and develop both direct and indirect team members to achieve operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate strong results orientation, change management skills, and process improvement capabilities aligned with supply chain objectives.

Why you?

We’re looking for someone who meets the following requirements:

Education

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business with specialization in procurement or logistics.

Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in distribution and warehousing, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP), warehouse management systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Proven track record in implementing KPIs and improvement initiatives that deliver measurable results.
  • Experience in an FDA-regulated environment is a plus.

Skills & Certifications

  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • English and Slovak language proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Preferred certifications:
    • CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)
    • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
