Our Perth office is on the lookout for a Corporate Boardroom Waiter to work Monday to Friday on the afternoon shift, 11:30am to 6:00pm.

Role Detail

Join our dynamic team at KWM's Perth office, located in the QV1 Building. As a key member of our professional Hospitality team, you'll be the friendly face providing exceptional customer service and catering support for various events and meetings. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of service and hygiene, ensuring a memorable experience for our clients and staff.

This opportunity is being offered on a permanent part-time basis and covers our afternoon shift from 11:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Key duties will include:

  • Delivering outstanding food and beverage service for meetings and events, including espresso coffee orders
  • Setting up and clearing meeting rooms, ensuring they are impeccably presented
  • Managing in-house catering and waiter service for meeting rooms, including functions and events
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the main kitchen, client rooms, and staff kitchenettes
  • Supporting kitchen team with basic food preparation and dishwashing as needed
  • Monitoring stock levels and ensuring kitchenettes are well-stocked and organised
  • Always providing courteous and professional service, maintaining a polished appearance
  • Assisting with after-hours meal service and reception coverage as required
  • Ensuring all service crockery, cutlery, equipment and utensils are clean and polished

About You

  • Demonstrated front of house waiting experience in a similar environment (such as boardrooms, conference venues, high-end hotels, corporate client floors)
  • Barista experience and certified in responsible service of alcohol (RSA) is highly desirable
  • Excellent client service skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy and all times
  • Ability to work both unsupervised and as a collaborative team member
  • General food and wine knowledge, as well as knowledge of silver service is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to multitask, use initiative and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office and computer literate
  • Flexibility with working hours
