Purpose of the Role

ZEISS Vision Care UK are recruiting a Commercial Vision Technology Solutions Manager. This position will report to the ECP Associate director and work in liaison with Divisional Managers, Account Managers, Professional Services, CCC managers, supply chain, finance and marketing. This position will be responsible for leading, developing, executing and evaluating the required deliverables for the UK market for the provision, maintenance, installation and training of our VTS equipment range for ECPs customers. This position is also responsible for the management of contracted third-party installation companies as suppliers of ZEISS Vision Care UK services. Management of the dedicated team to handle first-line VTS support queries effectively, reducing the reliance on second-level support.

Objectives and Key Requirements

Overall responsibility for the delivery of the revenue targets for VTS in the UK & IRE ECP channel, aligned to business target requirements.

Key Requirements of the role include:

· To create and internally align VTS Commercial Strategies and business / work plans across the UK & IRE ECP channel for delivery of VTS Revenues / KPI’s.

· Establish a dedicated VTS support service with a triage and ticketing system to streamline issue resolution and improve customer satisfaction.

· Identify and manage portfolio gaps.

· Responsible Global Key User for VTS UK & IRE, attending VTS Commercial UK & IRE and Global calls, preparing all administration & reporting requirements, including portfolio management, forecasting and pricing

· Accountable for the end-to-end completion of VTS software updates. · Support professional services with end-to-end product launches and VTS events.

· Design and deliver the SOPs and sales aids to enable the ‘sell’ of equipment to ECPs by AM ‘s

· Responsible for all installation KPI’s and implementation of VTS equipment in the marketplace through third-party suppliers.

· Responsible for tracking pipeline and forecasting the evaluation of performance of the business for VTS revenues and profit.

· Bring VTS expertise and know-how into ZEISS Vision Care UK commercial team, work closely with Corporate and Retail partners to challenge our thinking with new opportunities that deliver against business and brand objectives

· To create and execute key templates for reviewing progress and monitoring business success versus aligned KPIs.

· To manage and grow the Zeiss VTS sales within assigned UK & IRE ECP channel that are considered strategically important and capable of creating substantial growth for the Carl Zeiss Vision Group, acting and supporting as a role model to Account Managers.

· To forecast VTS revenues and profit in advance to support the budget process and reforecasting as required.

· To co-create customer initiatives and promotions that support the development goals of the ZEISS VTS business within regional key accounts.

· To provide business case documentation to support activities requiring investment and gain company approval ahead of implementation.

· To liaise, communicate and collaborate with internal teams, including the marketing team and customer care team, over issues, opportunities and activities related to VTS.

· Manage marketing strategy.

· Review finance offerings Packages, pricing rebates.

· Responsible for Commercial & CCC VTS Training for all devices listed in CZV UK Portfolio.

· Co-travel with commercial colleagues for significant (+£20k TBC) revenue generating customers’ visits.

. Required Knowledge & Experience

Must have:

· Full and clean driving license.

· Proven academics: Degree qualified or equivalent

· Proven track record of success and ROI in sales and technical abilities

· Proven evidence of leading specific projects in VTS

· Technical bias and Customer focus

· Experience in managing and working with external partners

· Experience in working with internal Sales Teams to deliver required sales tools

· Proven skills: PC literate: Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and a bias for technical expertise and knowledge building

· Demonstrated sales experience – credible at achieving KPIs and delivering growth in market

Desirable:

· Dispensing Optician or Optometrist
