Within our team here at Nissan Sunderland Plant, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Quality Assurance Team Leader to work in the Emissions lab. This campaign will be used for any permanent or stand in positions which may arise over the next 12 months.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for dynamic and passionate manufacturing staff to join the team, to drive processes, procedures, and quality standards to ensure that emissions testing is completed on time and to the correct COP and regulatory standards.
Outline and Responsibilities:
- Lead the team and support engineering with investigations and troubleshooting activities linked to Emissions testing and facilities.
- Complete critical reviews of emission reports and facility status to ensure testing is completed to the correct regulatory standards, with faults highlighted and addressed.
- Analyse data to make regulatory judgements.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Manage a team to deliver on QCD KPI’s.
- Promote and champion the Nissan Way \ Nissan Leadership Way values and Mindset.
- Create a safe, respectful and fair working environment.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Emissions lab experience is essential.
- The ability to review and understand emissions test & facility reports.
- A working knowledge of emissions facilities.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration between shopfloor and engineering.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on man-management, forward planning, and leadership.
- High personal standards and self-motivation are crucial for success.
- Previous experience in the supervision and training of others is advantageous.
- Good understanding of Nissan Way.
- Capability to investigate and analyse concerns.
