TD Securities ("TDS") is one of the world's leading wholesale banks with operations spread across 15 locations. Global Transaction Banking (GTB) comprises three business lines: Corporate Cash Management (CCM), Financial Institutions, and Trade and Working Capital (Core Trade and Structured Trade). Within GTB, support functions include Credit Structuring, Product Development, Business Intelligence, and Business Risk/Control.
GTB is a key growth business within TDS, offering innovative solutions and treasury advisory services for large and complex liquidity, payments, and trade needs. Over the last decade, the industry has seen unprecedented innovation, which GTB continually adapts to meet clients' needs. GTB is highly integrated within TDS and TD Bank Financial Group, working closely with Risk, Operations, Legal, FCRM, and Treasury and Balance Sheet Management.
CCM provides treasury management products to large-cap public companies headquartered in Canada and the U.S., as well as subsidiaries of global multinationals. Treasury management consists of the collection, disbursement, and management of money, and the related information technology required to implement these processes. CCM provides the linkages between these large corporate clients and the global payments system through various technology-based products, supported by high-caliber sales and execution personnel. Each client typically receives a bespoke solution that allows their systems to connect with TD, facilitating automated money movement. Teams are located throughout Canada and the U.S., serving clients worldwide.

We seek a self-motivated individual with multiple years' experience originating new business from large corporate relationships to join an energized team that will deliver on Treasury Solutions & TDS' strategic objectives. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a deep intellectual curiosity, a passion for corporate finance and technology and outstanding interpersonal skills/EQ.
Transaction Banking is underpinned by technology and innovation, and successful RM's develop trusted advisor relationships with their clients which require a solid understanding of the industry before one can be truly effective in the role. It is essential that you can find ways to autonomously drive your learning and take a degree of responsibility for your development by proactively seeking out opportunities for learning and improvement.
The nature of this role is sales and relationship management and will work as a key member of the origination team to increase total clients, as well as revenue and profitability across the entire portfolio. The individual must demonstrate their business development experience from both existing and prospective clients.
The Vice-President and Relationship Manager is expected to be an enabled, independent problem solver. The VP, RM routinely manages complex projects requiring the marshalling of resources from across Corporate Cash Management and TDBG. The ambition to develop leadership skills, both laterally and vertically, is essential.
This position is based in Toronto, Canada. Progression within the team will require travel to meet and build relationships with clients. A willingness to relocate in future would be advantageous, but not essential, as we have plans for growth in the key hub cities where TDS operates.
Understand the overall TDS client origination strategy, particularly that of Corporate and Investment Banking
Support activity to increase sales revenue by adding new clients and increasing the penetration rate of cash management products and services
Maintain an active pipeline of prospective new business
Lead client origination efforts, including annual client reviews, proposals and RFP's
Act as a technical expert on Treasury & Finance themes to portray TD Securities and Corporate Cash Management as thought leaders to our clients
Selectively call on non-TD clients that fit the TDS profile
Superior competence and experience to engage clients in conversation to understand and meet their current and future Cash Management needs by proactively providing them with advice/counsel on appropriate products and custom solutions
Work closely with other product partners in TD Securities (U.S. and Canada) including: Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Credit Management, Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, and Trade Finance to advance cash management opportunities
Identify cross-sale opportunities and refer clients to applicable TD businesses
Be required to travel for in-person client engagement
Plan and attend unique client industry and social events
Attend various industry relevant Treasury and Finance conferences
10+ years of relevant industry experience in the financial services sector with an emphasis on Global Transaction Banking, Cash Management Sales, Corporate Banking and Treasury
Demonstrated success in an origination role focusing on a large corporate client base
Life or career accomplishments that demonstrate motivation to achieve results, commitment to excellence and willingness to go above and beyond
An interest in technology, particularly FinTech, and a consciousness of its impact on the business
Demonstrated ability to work well individually and as part of a team
Self-starter with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour
Client Focused: Highly detailed with a sense of responsibility and strong, positive focus on delivering value.
Excellent written communication, organization and planning skills
Commitment to ongoing education and thought leadership to continually evolve within role and remain at the forefront of client expectations

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, speak clearly, confidently and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
Experience and understanding of Cash Management Services / Solutions used by complex / multi-national corporations
Undergraduate or graduate degree, business training and/or intense intellectual curiosity
Experience with Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools a plus
CTP qualification is a plus
Must be eligible to work in Canada
