About This Job

The VP Regional Sales Executive, Clearing Sales is a senior, quota bearing sales role responsible for originating, structuring, and closing new correspondent clearing relationships. This role manages long-cycle, complex sales processes involving broker dealers and hybrid RIAs and serves as the executive sponsor throughout due diligence, conversion, and post launch growth.

The role partners closely with Product Managers, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Senior Leadership to ensure profitable growth aligned with Axos Clearing’s strategic, operational, and risk objectives. Success is measured by net new clearing revenue, disciplined sales behaviors, and pipeline quality, not just activity volume.

Responsibilities:

  • Originate and close new correspondent clearing relationships within Axos Clearing’s ideal client profile, with a focus on broker-dealers and hybrid RIA wealth management firms
  • Own the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, deal structuring, credit approval, onboarding, and funding
  • Structure competitive, profitable deals in partnership with Finance and Sales Leadership
  • Serve as executive sponsor through due diligence, conversion, and post-launch growth
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities to support long-term revenue targets
  • Conduct regular prospect and client meetings, including significant in-person engagement
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, client events, and partner meetings
  • Maintain accurate, timely activity and pipeline reporting in Salesforce
  • Follow formal sales, pricing, and approval processes in a regulated environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 8+ years of sales experience within wealth management or financial services
  • Active Series 7 license (minimum)
  • Deep understanding of broker‑dealer clearing, custody, and capital markets infrastructure
  • Proven ability to manage long-cycle, consultative enterprise sales
  • Strong financial acumen (Pipeline Management, economic modeling, pricing, profitability)
  • Executive‑level communication skills across client and internal stakeholders
  • Comfort operating in regulated, risk‑aware environments with multiple approval layers
  • Salesforce CRM experience
  • Comfortable with high‑volume outbound calling to proactively build and manage a strong sales pipeline
