Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision: Work with architecture partners to define and drive the product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with company goals, customer needs, and market trends. Identify new opportunities for product enhancements or new product lines to maintain a competitive advantage.
Multi-Architecture Engineering Leadership: Lead multi-disciplinary teams in designing systems optimized for Intel Xeon Scalable processors, AMD EPYC and Instinct accelerators, and Nvidia based GPU systems Rack-Scale Cooling Innovation: Direct the development of advanced Direct-to-Chip (DTC) and designs to support high power density racks in support of customer roadmap
Thermal & Power Orchestration: Drive aggressive optimization of system thermals and power delivery. Oversee the integration of Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs), manifolds, and leak detection systems to ensure maximum uptime for high-TDP components.
Customer Engagement & Solution Definition: Act as the primary technical interface for Tier-1 Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and enterprise partners, co-defining solution specifications that address their specific bottlenecks in memory bandwidth and data throughput.
Use Case Alignment: Translate customer requirements into specific hardware configurations that balance performance, power efficiency, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
Ecosystem Integration: Oversee the integration of open-source and proprietary software stacks, including Intel OpenVINO, AMD ROCm, and NVIDIA CUDA/NIM, ensuring seamless hardware-software co-design.
Team Leadership & Development: Coach, lead, and build high-performing teams of product managers, designers, and engineers.
Requirements
15+ Years of Experience: Deep expertise in server-level hardware development, with a focus on infrastructure compute, AI factories, HPC, and distributed storage systems.
Liquid Cooling Proficiency: Hands-on experience with rack-level liquid cooling architectures, including coolant chemistry, blind-mate dripless couplings, and fluid management systems.
Deep Architectural Knowledge: Mastery of PCIe Gen5/Gen6, CXL (Compute Express Link), HBM (High Bandwidth Memory), and high-speed interconnects like InfiniBand or Ultra Ethernet.
Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to manage large-scale engineering budgets and global teams while maintaining a rapid product release cycle. Strong ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of innovation and rapid learning. Education: BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering and 15 years of experience in system level product development
