Position Summary

We are seeking a visionary and strategic marketing leader to guide transformation, drive growth through organic and inorganic expansion, and position Agilent as a global leader in LC/LC-MS technologies. This role is pivotal in shaping portfolio strategy, fostering innovation, and delivering customer-centric solutions that create tangible value worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Portfolio Strategy
- Develop and execute a multi-horizon growth plan combining organic expansion and strategic M&A initiatives.
- Own the LC/LC-MS portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with Agilent´s enterprise strategy and goals and capitalizing on market trends.
- Lead annual strategic planning deliverables and lifecycle management for LC/LC-MS solution portfolio.
- Partner with the Segment Marketing team to conduct market research and drive competitive analysis to identify and capitalize on untapped market opportunities and unmet customer needs.
- Define clear value propositions aligned with customer categories and market positioning for LC/LC-MS solution portfolio.
- Closely collaborate with R&D, Product Development, and Commercial teams to shape long-term product roadmaps.
- Drive strategic partnerships, set up an external Innovation EcoSystem and advance the M&A funnel.
Customer-Centric Initiatives
- Champion a customer-first approach, leveraging insights to create innovative solutions.
- Oversee Voice-of-Customer (VOC) programs and feedback loops to refine strategies.
- Build advocacy programs and foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the primary marketing liaison across Product Development, Sales, Operations, and Customer Support.
- Partner with regional marketing teams for global consistency and local relevance.
- Collaborate with Agilent’s CrossLab and Software & Automation divisions to deliver workflow-enabled offerings.
- Present strategic updates and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Team Leadership
- Build and inspire a high-performing marketing organization with expertise in product management, product marketing, VOC, digital marketing, and industry marketing and strategic collaborations.
- Foster a culture of disciplined entrepreneurship, collaboration, and accountability.
- Support professional development and elevate team capabilities.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related field; MBA or advanced scientific degree preferred.
- 10+ years in senior marketing leadership roles, ideally in life sciences or analytical instrumentation.
- Proven success in portfolio strategy, marketing execution, and delivering measurable business and market share growth.
- Deep understanding of LC and LC-MS technologies and applications across pharmaceutical, biotech, environmental, academic, and industrial markets.
- Expertise in digital marketing tools, analytics, and CRM systems.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $260,000 - $406,000/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
