Introduction

The VP – IT Digital Innovation and Enterprise Solutions for Zurn Elkay will be a visionary and results-driven leader for our organization’s digital transformation initiatives. This executive role will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide technology innovation, with initial focuses including enterprise IT solutions, AI solutions, and strategic program execution through a high-performing IT Project Management Office (PMO). As a key member of the IT leadership team, this VP will shape and execute the digital strategy, champion emerging technologies, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and business-aligned enterprise platforms. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep technical expertise, strategic acumen, and a passion for innovation and operational excellence.

Strategic Exposure & Career Progression

In addition to leading transformative technology initiatives, this role offers significant exposure to a broad spectrum of enterprise solutions and business operations across multiple entities within Zurn Elkay. Through collaboration with functional leaders in manufacturing, commercial operations, supply chain, and customer experience, the VP will gain a comprehensive understanding of the business and its digital needs. This crossfunctional visibility and influence will position the individual for progressive leadership opportunities, including succession planning for the CIO role.

Key Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Strategic Leadership & Innovation

• Define and execute the digital innovation strategy aligned with business goals. • Champion emerging technologies and AI to drive business transformation and operational efficiency.

• Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement across IT and business operations teams. Enterprise Solutions

Enterprise Solutions Oversight

• Lead the identification, evaluation, design, development, and integration of emerging technologies to enhance business processes and capabilities, including enterprise-wide solutions / applications (ex: ERP, CRM, Digital, BI, IT Infrastructure, and Collaboration) and AI-based solutions.

• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of enterprise platforms.

• Collaborate with business units to align technology solutions with operational needs and strategic priorities to enhance operational efficiencies and productivity.

• Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives as a member of the IT Cybersecurity Leadership Team. Oversee risk management related to digital initiatives and enterprise systems.

AI & Emerging Technologies

• Identify and implement AI use cases that deliver measurable business value. Drive innovation and scalability of AI solutions.

• Oversee AI governance and partner with IT Cybersecurity to ensure responsible and ethical AI use and compliance.

• Partner with business functional, data, and analytics teams to accelerate AI adoption across the organization including software product and UX teams to integrate AI into customer-facing solutions.

• Drive operational efficiencies and revenue growth through AI and transformational digital solutions.

IT PMO Leadership

• Lead the IT Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives that align with the company’s business goals across all applications and IT infrastructure.

• Provide direct support in strategic planning, communications, and execution of IT initiatives. Drive portfolio management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation across IT projects.

• Build and lead high-performing teams across the PMO, innovation, and enterprise solutions functions.

• Establish and enforce project governance, standards, and KPIs.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on technology trends and digital opportunities.

• Build strong relationships with internal key stakeholders across all business units, corporate functions, vendors, and partners. Champion collaboration and cooperation between technology and business operations.

• Communicate complex technical concepts in business-friendly language to drive alignment and support.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic acumen, and exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to lead hands-on problem management as well as deliver strategic presentations to the Executive Council or Board. A master communicator and relationship builder, this individual thrives in dynamic environments, managing complex situations and competing priorities with ease. This individual will be initially accountable for the IT PMO and will lead IT innovations and enterprise architecture across all business functions to enhance the performance of the functions in alignment with the company’s strategic growth objectives.

More specific requirements include:

• A technology leader with progression of responsibilities and examples of technology impact and success metrics in a large business ($1 billion to $10 billion). • Proven experience developing and executing IT strategies aligned with business goals.

• Strong business acumen with a track record of partnering with business units, finance, operations, and executive leadership to align technology with strategies, build relationships, and drive results with solution delivery.

• Strong financial acumen to drive successful IT operations for budgeting, auditing, compliance, and benchmarking.

• Led enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, including modernization of legacy systems and adoption of cloud platforms.

• Hands-on experience with AI technologies including identifying use cases, overseeing model development, and integrating AI into business processes.

• Deep experience implementing and managing enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, Digital, BI, IT Infrastructure, and other core platforms.

• Led system integrations, upgrades, and migrations across complex IT environments.

• Demonstrated success in leading an IT PMO, including governance, portfolio management, and project delivery including deep experience in change management, stakeholder engagement, executive communication, and quantifying business value to prioritize and deliver projects based on impact.

• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with measurable outcomes.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and IT risk management with experience in contributing to cybersecurity programs, incident response, and security advocacy.

• Is up to date on technological trends and innovations (ex: AI, IoT, cloud infrastructures) and can leverage them to drive outcomes.

• Is a results-oriented, detail-oriented nimble executive able to handle rapidly changing priorities, work through ambiguity, and be successful in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated skills in exceptional leadership, team management, succession development, fostering high-performance culture, and ensuring accountability by setting and achieving clear KPIs.

• Excellent analytical, written communication, and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with functional and executive leaders.
