What You Will be Doing

The VP Global Services AMER will lead and strategically direct all aspects of Hitachi's services business across the Americas region, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, operational excellence, and significant revenue growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for Global Services in the Americas, aligning with Hitachi's global objectives and regional market demands.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of all services engagements, including consulting, implementation, support, and managed services, ensuring high quality and timely execution.
  • Drive significant revenue growth and profitability for the services organization in the Americas, managing P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of services professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and client-centricity.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as an executive sponsor and ensuring their evolving needs are met.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and other internal stakeholders to align service offerings with market opportunities and drive integrated solutions.
  • Identify and implement best practices for service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer experience across the region.
  • Manage strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance service capabilities and market reach.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

What You Will Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in services delivery, consulting, or professional services, with at least 8-10 years in a senior leadership role overseeing a large regional or global services organization.
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth, managing P&L, and achieving operational excellence in a complex services environment.
  • Deep understanding of the technology services landscape, including emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and customer expectations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and successful execution.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and effectively navigate complex customer environments.
  • Experience operating within a large, matrixed global organization is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Americas region as required.

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $250K to $300K Expected on-target earnings: $400K to $500K

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara’s bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
