Position Summary:
Provide leadership and direction to the Emerging Markets (startup plans to $50M AUM) defined contribution and NQ plan client relationship function toward achieving superior client satisfaction and retention.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage overall activities of staff responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing defined contribution client relationships, including education on the availability of investment products and cross-selling new products.
Develop and lead strategy and analysis in support of business decisions related to service model enhancements and client/advisor retention and satisfaction
Execute on defined goals and plans related to retention and expansion of solutions sets with existing clients
Lead the development and continuous improvement of cross-product client solutions, processes, and engagement models to drive sales objectives and growth, client retention, participant outcomes, fee based revenue growth.
Develop and deliver appropriate client service measures that drives the organization to achieve goals; develops processes in support of goals
Lead regional relationship managers in developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives intended to identify and satisfy client and advisor needs.
Strengthen existing and build new client and advisor relationships, respond to requests and inquiries and facilitate product expertise involvement, as needed.
Work to enhance the company’s position in the marketplace; identify and recommend Industry best practices, deploy action plans to evolve business models and technologies.
Lead integration of client-facing technology with external clients, advisors and internal product specialists, including training, data management and reporting.
Coordinate relationship management activities with the sales, marketing, plan administration, and operations functions.
Manage expenses and identifies improvement opportunities across service teams.
Liaise with stakeholders, risk, compliance, and product teams to ensure a consistently excellent client experience.
Foster an environment of ownership and accountability and empowers team members to make effective decisions.
Provide leadership to management team including performance coaching and development opportunities to build a strong team to meet the demands of a constantly changing business and operating environment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
15+ yrs. experience in financial services, preferably in Retirement
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, MBA a plus
In-depth knowledge of Retirement products and services
Strong leadership skills with experience in growing a high performance team
Proven client relationship management experience in client retention and client satisfaction
Proven experience in account acquisition and management of Retirement books of business
Demonstrated ability to interact comfortably with all levels of the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sound understanding of the risk environment, compliance requirements, and ability to integrate controls and mitigating processes
Demonstrates an understanding of the impact of organizational challenges, proposes and implements collaborative solutions
Ability to effectively prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced changing environment
FINRA 6 and 26 license required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to travel 30-40%

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
